Our Plans Are On Hold
By JoAnn Abbott
Jan 2013
We’ve got to get together
We have to get it back
Listen to me!
Yessss
We’ve got to make a plan
A plan for our attack?
Yessss.
We must be careful
Must not breathe the slightest word
We want him dead
I know
We trusted him
You were a fool
He tricked us!
(both) We have to get back what he stole!
We will, but our plans are on hold
We thought he was our friend!
No one is friends with you, stupid! Stupid!
Noooo!
We need to follow close
And put him to an end?
Yesssss
Don’t let them hear us!
Let them think that we are friendly
Must make him hurt
We will
Just like we were
Don’t be a fool
He cheated!
(both) We wants it! Must get back our gold!
We will, but our plans are on hold
He will not know until we will take it
yesss
Our plans are made
I’m not afraid
Soon we will have it in our hands again
We hates him so
He is our foe
Sneaky little
Tricksy little
Wicked!
They stole it from us!
They will cheat you hurt you leave you
Horrid!
Nasty little
Wretched little
Eeeevil little
Our plans are on hold for now, but soon…
But soon
(both) Must have our precious!
Will get our precious!
Must have our precious soon.
Canadian Girlfriend
Nights are long and cold inside the arctic circle
Sometimes it’s six months before we see the suns sweet light
But we have our ways
To keep warm till the days of spring return
That’s one thing that I’ve learned
Here with my Canadian girlfriend
She has a way to keep me warm and happy
Stroking her beaver- no, it’s not a common pet
With its soft brown fur
It keeps close to her all through the night
And I hold them so tight
Lying by my Canadian girlfriend
Some folks might think, the way we live’s not normal
They cannot see, she’s right for me
Maybe we don’t act prim and formal
But we’re all right, all through the night…
The three of us are happy here together
And till the sun grows bright again, I’m glad to just be here
With my arms around
This sweet girl I found, I won’t let go
I hold her beaver so
Loving my Canadian Girlfriend
JoAnn:
Terrified
I watch him coming toward me
See his eyes
Filled with determination
But what chills me to the core
Is that glimpse of something more
I can see the pity in his eyes
And I am petrified
Just try and relax-
This will all be over soon - john
Strapped down on his table, cold
The smell of disinfectant in my nose
He puts the needle in
And then the dark begins
What will I see when I awake,
if I awake

(Shouted - ad libs from JoAnn):
I don’t want to die....I have so much more I wanted to do
.....God, give me another chance I know I wasted so much time
I want to live
I see his eyes
He’s standing over me
And starts to smile
The pity’s gone
There is only happiness is in them
As I wake and look around
“We couldn’t find the tumors
That we saw in the ultrasound
That's good news!
Looks like you dodged the bullet
Looks like you dodged the bullet
Looks like you dodged the bullet - john
I'm not gonna die. - JoAnn
Make The First Move
March 4 2013
Do you feel lucky? Well do you?
Make the first move
I’ve heard all your talk
Act or talk a walk
Make the first move
Now that we are here, face to face,
Make the first move
We both have opinions
Time to take a stand
Time for you to prove
Prove that you can take me in this fight
So get started- please don’t take all night
I’m giving you your chance
Let’s begin this dance
Make the first move
It isn’t quite as easy as it was when I was clueless
It’s harder to attack when you don’t have a back
Unprotected, unaware
Fool me once- shame on you
Fool me twice- shame on me
This time I know what I should do
So make the first move
Just make the first move
Why are you waiting? I’m ready, let’s get going
Or is it your fear that is showing
Not even a touch?
Yeah I thought as much.
This time
I made the first move.
