Written in honor of my mother’s 80th birthday!
Sung to the tune of “My Mother The Car”

Everybody knows that my mom’s life
Has been one both full and long
She’s done a lot, and traveled far
And she’s taught me to be strong
She was a kindergarten teacher-
Ran a fish camp in the sun-
And when most folks are slowing down,
She decided to have fun

As a CLOWN!

She’ll cheer you up when you’re feeling down
A big red nose and facepaint-
That’s my mother dear!
She’s helped me smile my whole life long
And I’m so glad she’s here!

Ev’rything my mother ever was
I hope someday to be,
When my kids and grandkids tell their friends
I’m acting so silly
And they’ll want to wear the red nose
Like the women of my clan
And we’ll fill the world with laughter,
That’s why I’m her greatest fan

She’s a CLOWN!
She cheers me up when I’m feeling down
